Griffiths Road, London SW19

This scheme replaces a police residential building in Wimbledon and consists of 21 new build apartments (one, two and three bedroom). It is a corner building which wraps around a landscaped garden. The building was received well by the local authority and is a positive contribution to the area.

A piled reinforced concrete flat slab forms the foundations of the building, flat slab construction with blade columns forms a reinforced concrete frame superstructure that is a design of its time. A lightweight timber frame forms the upper storey.
